Position Summary
We are created for life in community to experience true belonging, deepen our faith, and share the love of Jesus with others so they will know the hope, joy, and freedom of life in Christ. The Communities Pastor at West Campus exists to help make that kind of life together possible.
This role ministers to the congregation by leading the way in building a culture where Beulah Communities are the primary environment where disciple-making happens. This role is responsible to move people from attending to belonging by helping adults find connection, purpose, and a path into the everyday lifestyle of being and making disciples of Jesus.
Role responsibilities:
West Campus Beulah Communities & Disciple-Making Mobilization
- Champion the vision by building a culture of disciple-making through everyday community life.
- Build systems to support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, coaching and equipping.
- Mobilize leaders to launch new Communities.
- Uphold best practices for making disciples in and through community.
- Provide oversight on community-related initiatives, ensuring they are aligned and resourced.
- Co-create content and tools that help leaders foster life transformation in communities.
- Develop training and communication that equip and invite the church to live out Beulah’s Practices.
- Monitor ministry health and impact identify gaps, and support leaders well.
- Help the Connect + Impact Team guide people from First Steps to full church involvement.
General Pastoral Duties
- Pastoral care including performing weddings, baptisms, funerals and administering sacraments as required, and assessing immediate needs and spiritual direction.
- Be a visible and accessible presence at weekend services and other community gatherings.
- Develop assigned ministry plans and budgets.

- Entrepreneurial, able to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to sign and agree to Beulah's Statement of Faith, Staff Values, and Biblical Conduct.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada before being hired.
- Diploma (2 years min) from a credible Biblical Institution and 5 to 10 years’ experience in ministry.
- Eligible for accreditation with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination in Canada.
- Aligned with The Alliance Canada’s statement of faith and Call to Excellence.
