Church Hub helps you empower leaders
in your local context

The church in Canada needs new leaders…now more than ever, but nothing produces leaders better than the local church.

Well-rooted leaders grow by engaging in real ministry, by being mentored, by listening for the voice of God and by experiencing Spirit-led formation rooted in scripture and mission. There’s nowhere better for that to happen than in the local church.

Church Hubs are Alliance churches that commit to intentional leader formation of one or more apprentices giving them opportunities to serve in ministry and receive structured mentorship.

Apprentices commitment to a process of formation and discernment. They may be local church members, Bible college students, or individuals sensing a call to ministry later in life. Apprentices must be enrolled in theological education at an approved school.

  • Helping place apprentices into Church Hubs
  • Substantially subsidizing the apprentice's studies ($5,000 per year)
  • Hosting regular cohort meetings and a culminating retreat
  • Offering guidance for mentors

What happens when a church commits
to intentional leader formation?

At Coquitlam Alliance Church, hosting apprenticeships is about more than just an individual—it's shaping congregational life.

We believe God is calling us to raise up 3,000 new pastors and ministry leaders in the next 10 years to do God's work throughout Canada, and the world.

Is it time that your church becomes a training ground for the next generation of ministry leaders?
