A funding structure built to last and grow

The Alliance Canada has created a permanent, self-sustaining $20 million endowment dedicated to leader and church formation.

  • Annual disbursements that directly fund student and church formation
  • Pincipal will be protected and grown through ongoing gifts

Every gift to the endowment multiplies: it protects the pricipal while generating ongoing formation funding for years to come.

Full time · Primary pathway

Church Hub Apprentices

For those in the early stages of life and calling. Apprentices are embedded in an Alliance church, serving in ministry while pursuing theological education. Formation, discernment, and mentorship happen in real ministry context, not a classroom alone. May be local church members, Bible college students, or individuals sensing a call to ministry.

Part time · Secondary pathway

Second Career Pathway

For those who have built a career elsewhere and now sense a potential call into ministry. A part-time formation process that honours the gifts and experience already developed while building the theological foundation and ministry formation needed for leadership.

Institutional · Near graduation pathway

Advanced Formation Pathway

Designed for those nearing the completion of their theological education and actively pursuing ministry placement in a local church, this pathway connects academic preparation with hands-on ministry experience and preparation for ministry.

Funding breakdown: 80% tuition, 20% retreat

Applied directly toward the apprentice's theological education at an approved school

Funds a retreat drawing apprentices together from across Canada, providing a dedicated space for deeper spiritual formation
