A new venture in Toronto, ON!

Antioch Christian Fellowship is a new venture that began as an online Bible study during the pandemic, formed by a group of Ethiopian families in the Greater Toronto Area with a heart to serve their community. Since its early days of meeting from house to house, the group has remained committed to studying the Bible and equipping those of all ages with a deep understanding of God's Word. In 2024, the fellowship established a permanent location in the Danforth and Greenwood area, at the heart of the community they serve. With a vision to be a vibrant, multicultural body of believers, they are actively engaged in outreach working closely with the Ethiopian community in Toronto to reach newcomers and refugees to the city. Inspired by the church of Antioch in the book of Acts, this new venture continues to embrace the Spirit's leading as they grow with compassion, generosity, and a desire to make Jesus known in every aspect of life.

This new venture has launched in partnership with the Eastern District of The Alliance Canada.

Prayer Requests

You are invited to join the leadership team in praying for the following items: 1. Please pray for God’s power to work through us as we seek to reach our community with the transforming power of the gospel. May hearts be open and lives changed by His truth and love. 2. We carry a deep burden to reach the second-generation Ethiopian youth for the Lord. Please pray for wisdom, creativity, and discernment as we seek meaningful ways to connect with and disciple this next generation. 3. Since COVID, many individuals have become disconnected or displaced from church communities for various reasons. We have a passion to see these hearts restored and reconciled back into the family of God. Please pray for grace and sensitivity as we reach out in love and invite them back into community.
