Description
The chaplaincy role involves designing and leading a hospital-based program, mentoring future chaplains, and fostering spiritual growth among medical professionals. The chaplain will also coordinate and participate in regular chapel services while providing support through small group engagement.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement the hospital chaplaincy program
• Identify and train one or two other individuals to become chaplains
• Coordinate and participate in morning chapel three times a week
• Develop and support small groups for the doctors serving at hospital
Required Education or Training
Chaplaincy designation or Bible School Degree | Ordination | Portable License with The Alliance
Required Experience
• Pastoral experience & demonstrated leadership skills
• Bible study leadership experience
• Experience in discipling individuals/small groups
Preferred Education & Training
Seminary | Doctoral Studies
Preferred Experience
• Chaplaincy experience
• Ministry team experience
• Cross-cultural experience with Arab people
• Arabic language ability
