A new expression of church in Renfrew, ON

Church @ the Table is located in Renfrew, a community in the Ottawa Valley of Ontario! The new venture’s hope is to be prayer-fuelled, Christ-exalting, Spirit-empowered, Great Commission-focused, and committed to discipleship. Specifically, this initiative is responding to a felt need for a multi-generational church expression in Renfrew, especially geared towards young families, youth and children.

Led by Brant and Susan Levert, Church @ the Table aims to reach Renfrew locals who have yet to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. How do they hope to do so? In short, the table is at the center of their vision. The idea is to build community around dinner tables, and break bread with neighbours, strangers and family in this small town Canadian context.

While leaning into this heart for hospitality, Church @ the Table will also launch worship services, discipleship efforts and initiatives like Alpha and Every Home for Christ.

This New Venture is supported in partnership with Pine Ridge Family Church, Proximity Church, Trailview Alliance Church, and the Eastern District of The Alliance Church.

You are invited to join the the leadership team in praying for the following: 1. That the Lord would sent out workers into the Renfrew harvest to c-labour with them in establishing this new venture. 2. That this new venture would become a place where young families, children are discipled. 3. That unity would grow amongst churches in Renfrew - that this new venture could be a part of fostering healthy church relationships.
