Current Priorities
We are continuing to work alongside the Fulani (Fula) people of West Africa. We are developing relationships with our neighbours, some are Fulani, and some are Wolof. Our mission includes agricultural education, discipleship, and administration as we seek to glorify God and further His kingdom. Our desire is to see the Fulani (Fula) people come to know Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Vision
O God, with all our hearts we long for You! We long to see Fulani people come to know who You are, and how much You love them. We long to see this for Your glory, and in the hope and knowledge that one day we will bow at Your throne alongside Fulani brothers and sisters.
Bio
We both grew up in Christian homes where our walk with God started and was nurtured from a young age. In 2017, we each felt God drawing us to a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Him. This included more deliberate times of talking to God, but also the realization that God desires to speak to His children. We began to be more aware of the Holy Spirit’s promptings in our day to day lives, and through that awareness, in 2018 we both felt God’s call for us to begin overseas work. The process of joining with the Christian and Missionary Alliance was very encouraging, and through that process we sensed that Niger may be where God was leading us. At first, we prayed that God would either provide somewhere else or change our hearts about the possibility of going to Niger. God slowly, but miraculously, built not only a willingness, but a great excitement to go to Niger.
We served in Niger for 3 years before returning to Canada for our first Home Assignment. During that time, God made it clear that because of changes within the country, we would not be able to return to Niger to live. We are now relocated to Senegal, another country in West Africa, where we hope to continue to support our partnerships in Niger while also serving the Fula people where we live.
