Mike and Nikki Howell

Current Priorities

We have been serving in Senegal since 2021. We are working on evangelism, discipleship, and church planting among the least-reached Wolof people group. We are gaining access to share the gospel holistically through medical work and community development, specifically speech language pathology, literacy, and sports outreach.

Vision

We want to glorify God by bringing access to Jesus for the people of Senegal by helping to mobilize a reproducing church-planting movement amongst the Fulani and Wolof.

Bio

Mike made a commitment to Christ when he was growing up in Congo with his parents who were serving as missionaries. He responded to God’s calling to overseas ministry by attending Toccoa Falls College and studying Cross-Cultural Studies.

Nikki grew up in a Christian home and became a believer at a young age. She felt called to missions as a child and then renewed this calling during university while involved with campus ministry. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 is a passage that encourages Mike and Nikki to be ambassadors of Christ those who have not yet heard of his love.

Mike and Nikki’s calling to missions was affirmed during a vision trip and subsequent apprenticeship to Senegal. This calling has been reaffirmed by the opportunities and needs on the field that align with their skills and giftings.

Prayer Requests

Pray for sensitivity and discernment to invest in areas of ministry where God is already on the move.
Pray for our three young sons that they will thrive in this environment for God’s glory.
Pray that the Wolof and Fulani believers will be filled with the Holy Spirit as they boldly live out their faith and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
