The Silent Exodus has long shaped Korean immigration history in North America, with many young people leaving both the church and their faith. Despite the dedicated efforts of first-generation Korean churches, this trend continues. While various models have emerged to address the challenge, a fresh approach is needed—one that honors the foundations of previous generations while creating space for those who have drifted away.

With the growing boomerang effect, a church that blends bilingualism and multiculturalism—while remaining rooted in Korean language and culture—could offer a welcoming environment for returnees. To help the next generation of Korean-Canadians reconnect with their faith heritage, a ministry embracing bilingualism, multiculturalism, intergenerational engagement, and lay leadership could foster renewed belonging and spiritual growth.

All Souls new venture is being lead by Ian Lee, and is in partnership with RockPointe Church, and the Western District of The Alliance Canada.

Prayer Requests

You can join the team in praying for the following: 1. That they may become an alternative and complementary model to the existing Korean church models. That they may raise disciples who can live in the present reign of God, and share and embody the reign of God together. 3. That they may build fiscal soundness moving forward, through which they may become a sustainable model. 4. That they may find good partners and supporters. 5. That they may thoroughly prepare the core group.
