Current Priorities
We manage the Asia Mosaic Home and Christian guest house in Bangkok, Thailand. (AMH Bangkok) Along with our Thai staff we provide hospitality services for International Christian Workers, short-term teams and others. We host singles, families, groups, and even host conferences.
Vision
God has given us a passion to support those working in ministry. 1 Kings 19:4-8 is an excellent picture of what we see our role to be. The angels served Elijah with a place to rest and a meal to eat as he regained strength to continue God's assigned work. At AMH Bangkok we work at being 'angels', caring for those (in ministry) that comes onto our property. We provide a place of peace for them to:
REST their minds, body and soul.
RECEIVE the good gifts of God the Father as they have need.
RECOVER their peace, their passion and their desire to serve.
God Story
As individuals our journey to God is very different. Cor grew up in a Christian home, while Shelley came to know Jesus in her early twenties. We met at Briercrest Bible College, were married and spent 20+ years in Red Deer Alberta where we raised a family and were very involved with Deer Park Alliance Church.
As our children left the home one by one, God began working in our hearts, individually and together. He began growing a passion to support those in ministry and then led on our journey that eventually brought us to Bangkok. We arrived March 18, 2020 days before covid wreaked havoc on the world. It has been our work to redevelop AMH Bangkok, the physical property, operations and now that we are established its overall ministry.
Shelley likes to say we are "missionaries to the missionaries"
