Reaching the South Asian diaspora in Winnipeg, MB

Good News South Asian Fellowship has emerged in partnership with Winnipeg Chinese Alliance Church, and the Midwest District of The Alliance Canada. 

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? This is why the Scriptures say, "How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!" (Romans 10:14, NLT)

Good News South Asian is a ministry focused on engaging people in the context of their own culture and religious background. They look to build bridges in the community through teaching a full understanding of Jesus - through Biblical truths. They seek to engage with the South Asian community by embracing their rich culture, vibrant customs, and linguistic diversity. They are also actively working in partnership with Winnipeg churches on preparing to receive new believers of diverse backgrounds into their congregations. The leadership is actively engaged in regular multi-faith and culturally diverse community events that expands the reach and network of this ministry, and help to foster positive connections in the community.

Prayer Requests

You are invited to pray with the leadership team for the following items: 1. Pray for guidance and discernment for the team as they make important decisions regarding programs, resources, and outreach efforts. 2. Pray for the provision of necessary resources, volunteers, and partnerships to help the effectiveness. 3. pray for the individuals and families receiving the message of salvation, for hope, healing and transformation. 4. Pray for the team to be clothed in boldness so that they may speak with courage and clarity. 5. pray that they would be equipped with wisdom and discernment to understand the hearts of those they meet. 6. Pray for preparedness as they face whatever challengers or opposition they may encounter, knowing that they are cared for. 7. Pray that they would always be ready to answer for the hope that they have.
