Meet Michael - A Discerning Individual in Edmonton, AB!

Michael is discerning a call to ministry, with a desire to make disciples by building meaningful relationships, serving communities, and creating spaces where people can grow in their faith. In partnership with Southgate Alliance Church, Michael will continue serving in youth and young adult ministries while expanding his involvement across the church and engaging with neighbourhood communities exploring alternative expressions of church. As he pursues his degree, Michael is also exploring the potential of a coffee shop ministry, as a way to connect with people beyond traditional church settings. This one-year agreement supports Michael’s ongoing discernment as he equips himself to serve his community and share the Gospel more intentionally.

Michael is supported in partnership with Southgate Alliance Church and the Western District of The Alliance Canada.

Prayer Requests

You are invited to partner with Michael in praying for the following items: 1. Pray for clarity and confirmation as he explores partnerships with his church, and for God to open the right doors and provide direction for the next steps. 2. Pray for strength, perseverance, and confidence as he returns to college after 15 years away from higher education and makes a big transition from his former work. 3. Pray for him, his wife, and their four children as they navigate significant changes in schedules, finances, and family time, that they would find balance and continue to grow in their relationships with God and one another.
