New Life Alliance: Surrey

An emerging new venture in Surrey, BC.

In the past few years, as the cost of living in Vancouver and North Vancouver has continued to rise, tens of thousands of Metro Vancouver residents have relocated to the Surrey and Langley area of the Fraser Valley. Such was the case for 16 families who regularly attend New Life Alliance Church, based in North Vancouver. At the same time, a growing number of new Canadians and international students have also been settling in the Surrey/Langley region. Recognizing the need to reach out to this community, especially international students, the leaders at New Life Alliance Church are prayerfully launching a New Venture in Surrey.

Under the leadership of Pastor Ben Pantoja, New Life Alliance Surrey will gather for worship, Bible study and outreach activities. Rooted in the values of Christ-centeredness, Spirit-empowerment and Mission-focus, the group hopes to reach international students in the area with the Good News, by supporting their physical and spiritual needs. Whether through Alpha ministries or workshops about resources available for new immigrants to Canada, the team is eager to join Jesus at work in Surrey.

This New Venture represents a partnership between the Pacific District of The Alliance Canada, New Life Alliance Church, the Conference of Filipino Alliance Ministries (CFAM), and Surrey Alliance Church.
