Lisa with the students from the Student Residence and Discipling Centre (SR&DC) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

At the end of January, I wrote to several prayer partners about the Student Residence and Discipling Centre (SR&DC) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I mentioned that there had been two students who didn’t yet know Jesus, but that one of those had recently chosen to follow him. And I asked my friends to pray for the remaining young woman to do the same.

In late February, I spent a few days in Cambodia. A highlight of my time there was accompanying David and Patti Ens for an evening at the SR&DC. I had the privilege of sharing with the young women before they got into their regular Bible study.

While I was there, I was delighted to hear that the student I’d asked people to pray for, who had lived at the centre during her four years of university study, finally decided to follow Jesus. She had heard the gospel many times, experienced the love of believers around her, and was finally convinced of the truth. She has since completed her schooling and moved out. Please pray that her faith will grow and that she will follow Jesus all her days.
